Rogers, Arkansas – July 9, 2012…Brumley Entertainment and the I’ll Fly Away Foundation will celebrate 80 years of the world’s most celebrated Gospel song of all time, “I’ll Fly Away” with the first annual “Shindig” featuring multi-platinum and Grammy winning recording artist The Oak Ridge Boys along with Dailey & Vincent and the Blackwood Brothers Quartet. The music event will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the John Q Hammons Center at 3303 Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers, Arkansas. Music starts at 7:00 pm.
The Oak Ridge Boys are one of the most distinctive and recognizable recording groups of all time. Their many hits including “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue,” “Dream On” and “Thank God for Kids,” are only a few of the songs which have reached millions while the group never left their Gospel roots. For over 50 years the Oak Ridge Boys have been entertaining audiences all over the world while bringing together the traditions of Gospel, Country and Pop in their music.
